Here's where the Dual Shot Cheater- system
comes into play, helping maximize
performance from the starting line all the
way through the lights.It's like having two
systems in one.
stage is activated by a throttle switch on the carburetor
and includes jets to add from 100-150 extra HP (however much
can be handled off the line). Then, with the tires fully
hooked up, the driver can activate the second stage with a
push of a button and the second stage takes over.
Immediately, the system activates the second stage and
provides a total power increase of an extra 150 to 250 HP.
Both stages can be adjusted to suit changing conditions
involving a simple jet change, which takes just seconds to
accomplish. The Dual Stage Cheater system incorporates two
Super Powershot solenoids for the first stage and two
Cheater solenoids for the second stage. Included are a
variety of powerjets, 10 lb. capacity nitrous bottle, 1/T'
injector plate, aircraft quality steel braided hose, and all
necessary electrical and mounting hardware for a complete
installation. Also included is a fully detailed instruction
manual. This system is designed for use on V8 engines with a
minimum displacement of 350 eu. in. For best results, an
open plenum single plane intake manifold should be used.
If the application of nitrous in two stages is still too
severe (even with optional jets that allow the first stage
to be as low as 50 horsepower), it's time for an NOS
Progressive Nitrous Controller. Several models are available,
the most sophisticated of which controls both the amount of
nitrous being injected, plus the ramp-up time, and it also
can be used to activate the 2nd stage.
