TurboWing II 600 Series
For pickups or dually crewcabs towing trailers it's the most effective and most popular air deflector...
In 1983 Wingmaster downsized the big-rig TurboWing to meet the demands of the light truck owner who tows a cargo-type or 5th wheel trailer.
Wingmaster went to its tested and proven formula that works in its overall design purpose, and adapted it to an 11 averaging formula". Over a seven year period of actual over-the-road testing, the TurboWing 11 design significantly reduced drag to increase fuel mileage. A fleet of both Ford and GMC 3/4 and 1 ton pickups towing both 5th wheel and cargo-type trailers, towed coast-to-coast over a nine month period each year for seven consecutive years. Each vehicle's driver reported substantial fuel savings and smoother, stable towing.
TurboWing 11 is available in polished stainless steel only.
TurboWing 11 comes complete with fully adjustable polished aluminum bracketry featuring new rounded finish. This dynamic air deflector fits all standard domestic pickup cab tops including crewcabs and extended cabs. Also, most aftermarket sleeper cabs, 1988 and later new-style Chevy and GMC, and the new 1994-96 Dodge (see Super-Mini, page 10, for downsized option).
TurboWing 11 is most effective on trailers which extend in height from 8' to 13' ground to roofline. Adjustable bracketry allows Wing to be set at the angle that best suits the trailer being towed. Available in both Power or Shear style.
