Value Priced Power, Great Durability, and Easy Power Upgrades
This engine uses the ZZ4 shortblock and ads to it the Fast Burn
cylinder heads for 385 horsepower. The Fast Burn uses stamped steel 1.5
rocker arms and the same camshaft as the ZZ4, but these heads are hungry
for more. Approximately 425 horsepower at 6000 RPM is achievable by
adding a little more camshaft and 1.6 rocker arms. The Fast Burn is an
excellent choice for the basis of a custom engine. Its forged steel
crankshaft and forged PM connecting rods have been proven to 500
horsepower.
