This custom built small block thumper uses the new heavy duty 5.8L ''Sportsman'' 2-bolt main race block for the foundation and includes the crank, rods, pistons, timing chain, roller rocker arms, hydraulic flat tappets, push rods, oil pump and pickup, dual sump oil pan, valve covers, front cover, water pump, high performance harmonic balancer, 157-tooth steel flywheel, spark plugs and single plane intake manifold. Included with this assembly are: Ford Racing GT-40X aluminum cylinder heads, which yield 9.0:1 compression ratio and flow significantly better than production 5.8L heads. Ford Racing GT-40 valve train kit which includes Springs, retainers, keepers, seals and premium stainless steel swirl polished valves (1.94/Intake, 1.54/exhaust) with undercut stems. ''CamZilla'' the biggest and baddest high performance hydraulic roller camshaft Ford Racing offers provides big time torque and horsepower up to 6500 rpm. Valve lift is .552'' intake and .552'' exhaust. Duration at .050'' is 228 degrees intake and 246 degrees exhaust.
